Research Project

Live Streaming Music

Julia Haferkorn, together with co-investigator Sam Leak (Middlesex University) and Brian Kavanagh (King’s College London), were delighted to have been awarded a grant by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) as part of the UK Research and Innovation’s rapid response to COVID-19. The six-months research project, entitled ‘Investigating the monetisation of live streams of musical performances in the wake of COVID-19’ is currently underway and will result in the publication of an Open Access report for musicians. For further information or to register your interest in completing a survey relating to the project please visit www.livestreamingmusic.uk
